Description
Founded 2007, Hudson Clean Energy Partners is a private equity firm investing in renewable power, alternative fuels, energy efficiency and storage. The Hudson investment team has more than 50 years of combined industry experience, led by Neil Auerbach, Managing Partner. Neil is a former Goldman Sachs partner who co-founded the U.S. renewable energy investment effort at Goldman and led many of their most successful clean energy transactions. Hudson's inaugural fund, Hudson Clean Energy Partners, L.P., held a final close above its target in October 2009 at $1.024 billion. Global in scope, the Fund is dedicated to investing exclusively in renewable power, alternative fuels and energy efficiency in sectors that include wind and solar energy, biofuels, biomass, energy efficiency and storage. The Fund typically invests in high-growth, asset-based, capital-intensive segments of the clean energy value chain with minimal technology development risk, primarily in control and shared-control positions.
