Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) is an economic development agency based in Safat, Kuwait. The agency was established in 1983 to foster economic growth, economic diversification and capital markets development across the GCC region. It is the venture capital arm of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The assets are managed by the executive management team.Gulf Investment Corporation's investment portfolio is valued at over $3.22 billion, with investments in domestic and international equity, fixed income, infrastructure, real assets & natural resources, real estate, hedge funds, private equity, and cash.
