Grace Venture Partners is a venture capital fund which invests in seed and early stage technology companies with a focus on materials, communications, software, and semiconductor technology. The firm specializes in providing equity financing for the commercialization of military technologies. Grace prefers companies with an East Coast presence, typically investing from $500,000 to $2 million in early stage ventures with pre-money valuations of $2 million to $10 million. Grace also may invest opportunistically in later stage and mezzanine rounds. The firm is also affiliated with Grace Restaurant Partners, LP (GRP), a syndicate of approximately forty institutions, corporations and high net worth individuals who invest in emerging growth restaurant companies throughout the U.S. GRP considers investments in the quick service, fast casual, casual and fine dining segments of the restaurant industry, typically making initial investments of $1 million to $10 million of venture capital in portfolio restaurant companies. The syndicate will also reserve funds for follow-on investments in these companies. Over the life of the investment, the fund expects to invest an average of $5-$10 million in each portfolio company.
