Golden State Investment Fund

Golden State Investment Fund (GSIF) is a fund of funds based in San Francisco, California. Established in 2006, GSIF targets companies with traditionally limited access to institutional equity capital, companies located in or employing residents of economically disadvantaged or under-served areas, and companies in California's rural areas or emerging urban areas. The Golden State Investment Fund is managed by Hamilton Lane. The fund is a part of the California Public Employees Retirement System. The assets are managed by the executive management team of CalPERS and Hamilton Lane.
