Formed in 1997, Friedman Fleischer & Lowe is a private equity firm focused on middle-market companies. FFL's principals have invested $2.0 billion in 50 companies across a variety of industries and geographies. FFL considers a variety of deal structures, investing in companies with enterprise values between $50 million and $500 million, and with revenues in the range of $30 million to $400 million. The firm is actively seeking opportunities in the following industries: Outsourced business services; Education and training; Marketing and media; Consumer products; Healthcare; and Financial services. FFL's first fund, Friedman Fleischer & Lowe Capital Partners, LP, closed in September of 1999. The firm closed Friedman Fleischer & Lowe Capital Partners II, LP in June 2004. The firm's current fund, Friedman Fleischer & Lowe Capital Partners III closed in 2008 and the firm is currently investing from this $1.5 billion fund.
