Fondazione Sicilia is an independent non-profit foundation based in Palermo, Italy. Established in 1991, the foundation primarily aims to promote the social, cultural, and economic growth of Sicily. Its statutory activities concern the fields of scientific research, education, volunteer work, art, and artistic & cultural heritage. The assets of the foundation are managed and governed by the administration board, assisted by the superior council.Fondazione Sicilia's investment portfolio is valued at EUR 201.5 million, with investments in private equity, real estate, hedge fund, fixed income, publicly-traded equity, and cash.
