CMA Ventures

CMA Ventures is a venture investment fund wholly-owned by Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO). The firm invests in companies at all stages of growth; from seed, to early stage, to growth capital opportunities. CMA prefers to invest in companies located in the upper Midwest with a preference for Iowa-based companies. Past investments have ranged from $25,000 to $1.5 million (after follow-on). The firm will partner with other investors and financial institutions when mutually beneficial. CMA Ventures does not typically invest in retail, real estate development, turnaround situations, or change-of-control transactions.
