City of Boynton Beach General Employees' Pension Fund is a public pension fund, based in Boynton Beach, Florida. It is administered by the City of Boynton Beach Retirement System. The General Employees Pension Plan covers all permanent full-time employees except those covered by the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plans. The benefit provisions and all requirements are established by City Ordinance. Employees are fully vested after five years of service with the City. There is no mandatory retirement age. Retirees begin receiving monthly benefit checks the month their retirement begins and continues until death. The assets of the plan are managed and administered by the pension board.
