Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund

Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF) is a public pension fund based in Gaborone, Botswana. established in 2001, the plan is a defined contribution pension scheme which was established in 2001. The fund administers and provides retirement benefits to its members and to their beneficiaries. The board of trustees, comprised of nine employer trustees, nine employees trustees, one pensioner trustee and one independent trustee appointed by the board manages the fund. The finance and investment committee oversees functions of the board of trustees over investment matters relating to the fund.
