BC Advantage Funds (VCC) Ltd.

BC Advantage Funds was a British Columbia, Canada–based venture capital firm formed under the Small Business Venture Capital Act to invest in early-stage life science, technology and clean technology companies, with headquarters in North Vancouver and activity dating back to the early 2000s. The firm deployed capital across seed through later stages in sectors including health, energy, semiconductors and software alongside co-investors, focusing on companies with growth and innovation potential. It combined equity financing with strategic support to help portfolio ventures scale in Canadian and select international markets. The entity completed a voluntary liquidation and dissolution process after more than a decade of operation, returning capital to shareholders and winding down affairs. BC Advantage’s investment record included participation in emerging technology and clean tech financings in North America.
