The bank Wölbern Foundation was founded in 2004 in Hamburg. The Foundation supports projects with a focus on migration and culture. The focus is on children and young people - young adults of tomorrow. The Foundation promotes the next generation, because their development and education largely determine the future of our society.
In cooperation with the Humboldt University in Berlin, the Bank Wölbern Foundation every two years with the EUR 5,000 prize Scherer Prize. With the price of Theses and Dissertations in the field of German philology are excellent.
