Audubon Capital

Founded in 2000, Audubon Capital was established to provide innovative structured mezzanine financing solutions to high quality middle market companies. The principals of Audubon Capital have been business partners since 1994 and are co-founders of Cari Capital Company, LLC, a merchant banking firm, and members of the General Partner of Audubon Capital Fund I, L.P., a licensed SBIC. The venture capital fund began as a $50 million fund established to invest in companies in the Gulf South, which includes East Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. Audubon focuses on mezzanine financing for middle market companies exceeding $5 million and demonstrable EBITDA of at least $1 million. Typical investments range from $1 million to $4 million over a five-year term, although considers larger funding with co-investors.
