AMP 401(k) Plan is a single-employer defined contribution corporate pension based in Baltimore, Maryland. Established in 1982, the plan covers substantially all employees and pilots of the Association of Maryland Pilots (the Plan Sponsor or the Association) who are at least 21 years old and have completed one year of service, which is defined as the 12-month period during which an employee has at least 1,000 compensated hours. Employees and pilots may enter the plan on the first day of the month coinciding with or next following the date of satisfaction of the eligibility requirements. The pension committee, of the plan sponsor, is responsible for oversight of the pension fund.
