Allete & Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan C

Allete & Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan C is a Corporate Pension Plan based in Duluth, Minnesota. Established in the year 2016, it consists of all participants of the Allete and Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan A and Allete and Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan B whose termination of employment occurred prior to January 1, 2016, or whose benefit under Plan A or Plan B relates to a deceased participant or is an alternate payee pursuant to a QDRO, whose benefit under Plan A and Plan B had not been fully distributed as of January 1, 2016, were spun-off into Plan C on January 1, 2016. U.S. Bank National Association acts as custodian for the Plan. The Plan is administered by the Employee Benefit Plans Committee of Allete. The Committee has the authority to control and manage the operation and administration of the Plan as the named fiduciary.
