AKAMAI Capital is a hedge fund and venture capital firm based in Kailua, Hawaii. The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary and investment arm of The AKAMAI Foundation CDFI. It provides gap funding for companies unable to meet the stringent underwriting standards necessary to secure traditional bank financing, and lack the size, scaling potential and exit opportunity necessary to attract traditional venture capital financing.
