Adventist HealthCare (AHC) is an independent non-profit foundation based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The foundation provides wellness, disease management and health-care services to the community. Its health-care delivery network includes five nationally accredited, acute-care and specialty hospitals, mental health services and home health agencies, serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and northwestern New Jersey. The mission of the foundation is to improve the health of people and communities through a ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. the foundation is governed by the board of trustees.
