Thomas Lazay is the Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Companyon Ventures. Prior to co-founding Companyon Ventures, he was a technology entrepreneur for most of his career who built and sold two technology startups in Boston-VoiceSignal (sold to Nasdaq: NUAN) and Shaser BioScience (sold to NYSE: SBP)-for a combined $360M+. After Shaser BioScience was acquired, he became more involved in the Boston startup ecosystem: He backed two seed funds and became a venture partner at Converge Venture Partners and a limited partner at Project 11 Ventures. He has a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College. He volunteers as a judge and mentor at Mass Challenge and serves on the advisory board of the Andover Coalition for Education in Andover, MA.
