Hamburger Pensionskasse invests in hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds, and funds of private equity funds. In terms of private equity they have exposure to US and European markets but not Asia. They use single-manager funds for mezzanine and distressed equities and funds of funds for venture capital, buyouts, and secondaries. They do not invest in sector-specific private equity funds.HP is not focusing on alternative investments at this time and is not looking for new managers.
