Steve McCanne

Dr. Steve McCanne serves as Board Member at Corelight and previously Co-Founded Jut and served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. He is also Co-founder of Riverbed Technology and has served as Chief Technology Officer, Board Member and Executive Vice President since September 2002. Prior to founding Riverbed, McCanne served as chief technology officer for the media division at Inktomi Corp., and then as its Chief Technology Officer from October 2000 to March 2002. McCanne joined Inktomi following its acquisition of FastForward Networks, which he co-founded in May 1998. McCanne has also served on the faculty in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the University of California, Berkeley. McCanne holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
