Sanjay Nayar

Sanjay Nayar is an Non-independent Director at Magma Fincorp. Since 2009, he has worked with KKR in Mumbai, a leading global alternative asset management firm with more $52 billion in assets and 600 employees in 14 offices around the world. Prior to working with KKR, he spent 24 years with Citigroup, most recently as CEO of Citi's Indian and South Asian operations and as a member of Citigroup's Asia Executive Operating Committee and Global Senior Leadership Committee. He has served as the Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Foreign Banks' Committee for the Indian Banks' Association (IBA), as a board member of the US India Business Council (USIBC) and of the Habitat for Humanity India Builds campaign. He has participated in various sector reform committees set up by the Indian government and domestic regulators. Currently he serves on the boards of NGOs such as Habitat for Humanity, Pratham and Grameen Capital.
