Rolf Mathies is Co-Founder and Partner of Earlybird . Rolf has more than 20 years of investment and deal making experience. He has a strong entrepreneurial and management background, particularly in helping companies manage their rapid growth and ramp up of their businesses. He was chairman of the board at amaxa AG (Cologne) from the foundation tothe exit to Lonza Group Ltd. (SWX: LONN). He was board member of Alantos Pharmaceuticals AG (Heidelberg/Boston) until it was sold to Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN) he was Chairman of the Board of element 5 AG, which was sold to Digital River Inc. (NASDAQ:DRIV). Furthermore Rolf was an initial investor in Wilex AG now listed at the Prime Standard in Frankfurt (WL6).
