Pietro Boroli

Pietro Boroli serves as Vice President & Board Member at De Agostini. Born in Novara November 21, 1957, he graduated in Political Science at the University of Pavia. In 1979 he began his collaboration with the De Agostini Geographic Institute. From 1981 to 1983 he was assistant to the General Manager, Marco Drago. In 1984 he was appointed Director of Advertising, Sales Director in 1985 Magazines and in 1990 director of the Division Collectible, coordinating activities both on the Italian markets. Since 1993 he is Director General of the De Agostini Geographic. In 1999 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of De Agostini Geographic Institute and since 2003 he has been Chairman of De Agostini Editore, the publishing sub-holding. He is Vice Chairman and Executive Committee member of De Agostini SpA, the holding company of the Group and holds various positions within the Group companies, including those of Chairman of De Agostini SpA Books and Publishing De Agostini SpA, and administrator Zodiak Media SA He is Chairman of the SGP that controls the Corriere di Novara and Eco di Biella, Director of Venchi SpA, Banzai SpA, Lavazza SpA and SpA Rubinetterie Stella
