Peter Polanskyj

Peter Polanskyj serves as Managing Director & Head of CLO Origination at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group. He also is an Angel Investor. He oversees the creation, securitization and ongoing structuring activities for Oz-managed CLOs as part of the Institutional Credit Strategies platform. He is also responsible for the Firm's investments in CLOs and other corporate-backed structured products. Prior to joining Oz Management in 2008, Polanskyj held various positions at Morgan Stanley, where he initially focused on credit and structured credit and eventually led several strategy efforts including those focused on equity derivatives and capital structure arbitrage. Prior to that, he worked as an independent consultant focused on employee stock option valuation and as a Supervising Actuary for Reliance National Insurance Company. Polanskyj holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Rutgers University, where he was named a Henry Rutgers scholar, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Polanskyj is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
