Pete Bonee serves as a Partner at Innosight Ventures. He brings years of experience as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, where in addition to working in successful startup ventures he also was active in coaching young entrepreneurs and serving on startup company boards. Pete was the founder of Sylantro Systems Corp. (acquired by Broadsoft), a supplier of application software to enable enhanced telephony services over broadband networks. He served as Sylantro's CEO from 1998 to 2006. Prior to founding Sylantro, Pete was Vice President of Product Operations at Latitude Communications (acquired by Cisco). As a member of the early startup team at Latitude, he led the development of Latitude's MeetingPlace conferencing products. Before Latitude, Pete was Vice President of Engineering at VMX Incorporated (acquired by Lucent), a worldwide leader in voice messaging products. Before VMX, Pete worked at ROLM Corporation in a variety of engineering and management roles. Pete's educational background includes an MSEE degree from Stanford University and an SBEE degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Pete also attended the AEA Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
