The family office has invested in over 22+ funds across multiple geographies and strategies. Mohan is also an Investment Committee Member and prime LP of 3one4 Capital, one of Indias fastest-growing early stage VC funds. 3one4 Capital manages 4 funds and a combined corpus of INR 750 Crores (USD 100 Mn), with a portfolio of 55+ startups in India and USA. Mohan has also been a primary contributor to the policy and regulatory progress that India has made to encourage startups and remove friction from the ecosystem. He helped design and was the Investment Committee Member of the SIDBI India Aspiration Fund and the $1.8 Billion India Fund of Funds which has invested in 80+ domestic funds and committed over USD 450 Mn already. Mohan has also helped draft policies across multiple areas such as electric vehicles, capital controls, listing regulations, financial reporting standards, IT standards, and corporate governance. In particular, he has worked with the Union Government of India to launch the Startup India policy . He has also worked with multiple State Governments, including Karnataka and Rajasthan, on Startup Policies at the state level. Until June 2011, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of Infosys and the Head of Administration, Education and Research, FinacleSM, Human Resources and the Infosys Leadership Institute. He joined Infosys in 1994 and served as a Member of the Board since May 2000. He was the Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 2006. As the CFO, he played a strategic role in transforming Infosys into one of the world's most respected software services companies. He played a key role in branding the company among the investor community and enhancing transparency and disclosure levels. He was an integral part of the Infosys team that enabled the first listing of an India-registered company on NASDAQ and the first sponsored secondary offering of American Depositary Shares by an Indian company. He also formulated the country's first publicly articulated company financial policy. The Infosys Annual Report, under his supervision, has won the top awards consistently from the Institute of Chartered Accountants and from the South Asian Federation of Accountants. He was voted 'CFO of the Year' in 2001 by IMA India. He won the 'Best CFO in India' award from Finance Asia in 2002, and 'Best Chief Financial Officer in India' in the Best Managed Companies poll by AsiaMoney in 2004. He was a Member of the Kelkar Committee, constituted by the Ministry of Finance, GoI, for reforming direct taxes. He also works with Central and State governments in the fields of education, IT and business. In 2000, he spearheaded the foundation of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, Bangalore, to start a mid-day meal program for school children. Today, the mid-day meal program feeds over 1.2 million children across seven states in India. The program aims to feed 5 million children by 2020. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore, and a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from Bangalore University. He is also a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
