University of California's investments are organized by their treasurers. The treasurer's office currently manages a portfolio of retirement and endowment funds totaling roughly $68.5 billion. Allocations are made to absolute return strategies (27.4%), alternative equities (11.4%). Allocations are made from University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) and the General Endowment Plan.
