Michael Mitgang

Michael Mitgang serves as Managing Director at WGD Partners. He Co-Founded Sunlayer. He served as a Board Member at Flexstar Technology. He serves as Angel Investor at Michael Mitgang. He served as the Vice President, Finance at FusionOps. He is also a Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking. He has over 20 years experience and brings the perspective of both an advisor and investor to his work with clients. He has executed merger, acquisition, advisory and financing assignments for domestic and international clients and has worked across all sectors of the technology industry including hardware, internet, mobile, software, clean technology and education. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of Private Placements at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray where he led its private placement practice and was on its internal fund investment committee. He also co-founded Rigel Associates, a private equity group that invested in middle market technology companies. Prior to U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, he was with Salomon Smith Barney's technology investment banking team. He holds a BASc. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
