Liu Xiaosong

Liu Xiaosong is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and Executive Director at A8 New Media Group. He also serves as the board Chairman of the company. In 1987, Liu graduated from China Electric Power Research Institute in the PRC with a Master's degree in Engineering. In 1991, he studied at Tsinghua University as a PhD research student. Liu has diversified experience in the technology, media and telecommunications industry. He is one of the co-founders of Tencent Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange with the Stock Code: 00700.HK. In 2004, Liu was admitted to the Shenzhen Experts Working Union. Liu was appointed as the Vice President of the Copyright Union of the Internet Society of China and the Copyright Society of China in August 2007 and September 2007 respectively. He is also the Vice President of the Shenzhen Hi-tech Association.
