Lee Wrubel

Dr. Wrubel has ten years of experience in venture capital and has been associated with a large number of private companies, including now publicly traded companies such as Pozen Pharmaceuticals, Northstar Neuroscience, CombinatoRx, and Atricure. Dr. Wrubel serves on the Translational Research Advisory Committee of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and is a member of the Health Leadership Council of Save The Children. Prior to founding Foundation Medical Partners in 2001, Dr. Wrubel was an investment professional with Canaan Partners and Highland Capital Partners, where he specialized in biotechnology and medical devices. He began his business career as a consultant at The Wilkerson Group, a healthcare-focused management consulting company. Dr. Wrubel completed a pediatric internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He holds an AB from Lafayette College, an MD and MPH from Tufts University, and an MBA from Columbia University.
