Lee Wang

Lee Wang serves as Chief Operating Officer & Member of the Board of Directors at WeddingWire and is also a Co-Founder of the company. He is an Angel Investor. He is responsible for overseeing business operations and driving revenue growth and retention strategies. Prior to joining WeddingWire, Lee held the post of Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Parature Inc., a software-as-a-service company in the customer support and service industry. At Parature, Lee led the efforts to evangelize and convert the commercial industry to adopt cloud based software solutions. Preceding Parature, Lee co-founded Blackboard Inc. (formerly Nasdaq: BBBB) in 1998 which was sold to Providence Equity Partners for $1.64B in 2011. While at Blackboard, Lee served a variety of roles including Director of Sales and Regional Director for the Asia Pacific and Latin America business operations. Lee holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Operations Research/ Finance from Cornell University.
