Kateri Jones

Kateri Jones is an Analyst at Syncom Venture Partners. She is responsible for supporting the strategic and financial progress of Syncom’s portfolio companies, performing detailed research within the digital media space, conducting due diligence, and deal analysis on potential new investment opportunities. Kateri previously worked at Lehman Brothers, in New York, NY. She was responsible for organizing and developing new ideas and concepts for the firm's investor presentations and other marketing collateral. She has extensive professional and academic experience abroad. She worked in Capetown, South Africa at the University of Capetown, where she taught South African and American students finance, entrepreneurial skills, and business development. Other international experience includes work and study in Costa Rica and Italy. Her global experiences provide her with critical insight that assists Syncom's portfolio companies in their efforts to target cultural markets and underserved communities. Kateri is a graduate of Spelman College, in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics. She has also furthered her knowledge in business and entrepreneurship through participation in programs at Stanford Business School, in Palo Alto, California and the completion of the Venture Capital Institute program, sponsored by the National Venture Capital Association.
