Mr. Jonathan Leitersdorf is the Principal, Managing Partner, and Chairman of the Investment Committee at L Capital Partners. He is also the Founder of the firm. Mr. Leitersdorf is the largest investor in the firm. Mr. Leitersdorf has been an active venture capital investor since 1996. He has been involved in real estate investments and architectural projects since 1992, including numerous loft conversions in downtown Manhattan as well as land and office buildings acquisitions in Orlando Florida. Portfolio currently includes retail, office, and land assets in the United States, Switzerland and Israel. Since 1996, Mr. Leitersdorf has started his career in the technology investment space. Both the Internet/ IT sector and life sciences have been the focus of investments in the past 16 years. Prior to founding L Capital Partners, he led the Shalom Group and Shalom Equity Fund in 22 rounds of financing in 14 different venture capital investments in the fields of networking, medical devices, security, business software, and energy. From 1996 until Mr. Leitersdorf founded Shalom, he was an angel investor in early stage technology companies. He was an early investor in cha!, Exalink, Protez, Mirabilis ICQ, ExchangePath, G-3, Corechange, and Fis-Net. Previously, from 1993 to1997, Mr. Leitersdorf was a Managing Partner at Savanna Partners. He was also the Founder and Chairman at ExchangPath. He serves as a Director at Hi-G-Tek. Mr. Leitersdorf has joined the Board of Directors at Aquarius Technologies Inc. on September 11, 2006. In Israel, he sits on the Board at VisionSense, serves on the Board of Governors at the Weitzman Institute of Science, and is an investor in and adviser to the Technion Entrepreneurial Incubator Co. Mr. Leitersdorf served in the Israeli Army from 1982 to 1985. Mr. Leitersdorf received a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in 1992 and Master of Architecture from Architectural Association School of Architecture in London in 1990.
