CoreNetwork is a private, independent, and confidential group of individuals who are interested in looking at private equity investment opportunities, primarily in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, which may provide an above-average return. CoreNetwork provides a formal structure to accomplish this in a manner which incorporates community and sponsor support, and is intended to improve the likelihood for success of the investee companies. The investment team at CoreNetwork does not limit themselves to any specific sectors or life-cycle stages. Investments are made in the range of $100,000 to $2.5 million. CoreNetwork was founded in 2003 in Toledo, Ohio and has had two exits as of October 2011.
