John Metzger

John Metzger is a Co-Founder of Inspire Commerce. He is also the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Metzger Albee Public Relations. After 10 years as a magazine editor, and a three-year stint with a national investor relations agency, he struck out on my own to found one of the nation's first technology public relations firms in 1991. Metzger Associates grew to become one of the industry's leading independent firms, setting best-practice standards at every stage of the communications revolution. From the first cell phones and websites to today's new world of digital marketing and social media, it's been my privilege to continue our firm's nearly 25-year legacy of innovation, integration and service to clients around the country, and across multiple industries ranging from high-tech and healthcare to energy and consumer products. He has served on the boards of a number of trade associations and entrepreneurial support organizations including the Rockies Venture Club, the Colorado Technology Association, the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the International Association of Business Communicators, the Governor's Office of Economic Development, the University of Colorado Technology Transfer Office and the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association. He received his education at the University of Colorado and the Colorado School of Mines, served as a volunteer firefighter in the mountains west of Boulder.
