Joanne Yuan

Joanne Yuan serves as Principal, Investments at Turn/River Capital. Yuan is also an Angel Investor. She served as Associate Partner at Cowboy Ventures. Prior to joining Cowboy, Joanne was on the investment team at private equity firm Hellman & Friedman, where she worked closely with the management teams of consumer internet, digital media, software and services companies, including in operating roles leading strategic projects at Catalina Marketing. She has also been a deal lead on the corporate development team at Google, focused on acquiring start ups. Joanne started her career in mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley. Joanne has dual degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree from Stanford. She founded and serves on the investment committee of The Women's Building in San Francisco.
