West Yorkshire Pension Fund is the pension fund for employees of West Yorkshire's five councils (Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale), plus another 181 local-government organizations. The Fund serves over 200,000 members. The Fund manages about GBP 5 billion ($8 billion) in total assets and has about $500 milllion invested in funds of hedge funds, with an additional $325 million in private equity funds. WYPF has exposure to property investments through unit trusts.
