Eivind Bergsmyr

Eivind has been a partner in Viking Venture since 2009. He graduated in electrical engineering from NTNU in Trondheim and has a degree in economics from BI and management training at the MBA level from Siemens in Germany. Between 2002 and 2009 he led the Norwegian company Nacre AS from startup to sale. When the company was established as a global leader in hearing protection and communications headsets for defense and security market. In 2007 nacre sold to Sperian Protection 125 mUSD, a sale that was named Nordic Venture Exit of the Year 2007. Eivind has broad industry experience from Siemens Telecom and Siemens Electrical Heating in Oslo and Trondheim in areas such as technology management, sales and business management. He is a director of Gas Cure, polight AS MemfoACT AS, Read Cased Hole Ltd, Meta Downhole Ltd, Ecowat AS and Nano Radio AS (sold in 2012).
