Founded in 1800, Middlebury College makes investments through its endowment, valued at $785 million. The college�s endowment investments in currently consulted and managed by Investore. The endowment allocates 25% of its investment capital to private equity investing typically in N.America, Asia Pacific and European funds. They invest in an opportunistic basis in many fund types such as mezzanine, buyout, venture and turnaround funds. As of June 2008, the college has invested in the latest venture capital fund managed by Fresh Tracks Capital.
