Ashish Aggarwal

Ashish Aggarwal is Co-Founder & serves as Non-executive Director at Micro Pension. Ashish was an executive director till March 2015 and led the finance function along with customer protection and products initiatives. He was also managing the legal function and talent management. Ashish has played a leadership role in developing the IIMPS MFI and bank-led and technology enabled model. Prior to conceptualizing and helping set up IIMPS, Ashish was a key member of the IIEF pension policy advisory team. He advised the Indian Ministry of Finance and PFRDA on NPS architecture design, products and implementation planning. He has also served as a consultant to ADB on pilot-testing mass-market strategies for the NPS among low-income informal sector workers (2008-2010). He has also served on the OECD Regional Center on Health and Social Policy, S. Korea (RCHSP) panel as a country expert on Pension Syste In a previous role, Ashish was a journalist on economy and finance with Business Standard and Business World. He is a MBA in finance and technology from Indraprastha University.
