Albert Azuut is a Partner at Cota Capital and a Managing Director in Cota Ventures II. Albert is responsible for sourcing and managing Cota's private portfolio with a specific focus on infrastructure, workflow automation, software developer life cycle, and big data/analytics.
Prior to Cota, Albert served as a Senior Product Manager for datascience and ad optimization at AOL. Out of his family office, Patagonia Capital, Albert has made several direct investments, including unicorns such as Hippo Insurance and Oak North. His direct investments include several exits, such as: Qwiki (acquired by Yahoo!), Uber (NYSE: UBER), Bina Technologies (acquired by Roche), and DeepScale (acquired by Tesla).
