Washburn University Foundation

Washburn University Foundation manages the endowment of Washburn University, based in Topeka, Kansas. The foundation is created to assist in the promotion, development, and enhancement of the financial resources for the Washburn University of Topeka as well as to receive and hold in trust any assets given for the benefit of the university. The foundation primarily manages endowment or trust funds, the income from which is used for the benefit of the university. The foundation is responsible for the fundraising activities of the university. The foundation also manages funds for the Washburn Law School Foundation. The endowment is managed by the board of trustees, assisted by the investment committee and finance committee.Washburn University Foundation's investment portfolio is valued at $92.01 million, with investments in domestic and international equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and cash.
