Virginia Commonwealth University Foundation (VCU Foundation) manages an endowment of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) which is based in Richmond, Virginia. The foundation also operates as a charitable, nonprofit corporation exclusively for the benefit of Virginia Commonwealth University. The foundation provides support to the university to accomplish educational and civic purposes. The VCU Foundation exists for the sole purpose of soliciting, collecting and investing donations for the benefit of the university.
