Victorian Funds Management Corporation

Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) is a money management firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Established in 1994 under the Victorian Funds Management Corporation Act 1994, the firm provides its services to insurance funds, non profit institutions, superannuation funds and public sector undertakings. It is a public authority and body corporate governed by an independent Board of Directors whose members are appointed by the Governor in Council. The Treasurer appoints the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman. VFMC reports to the Treasurer of Victoria through the Department of Treasury and Finance.
