University of Colorado Foundation (CU Foundation) manages an endowment fund of University of Colorado which is based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1967, the foundation enables donors to advance the mission of the University of Colorado. The foundation's Long Term Investment Pool (LTIP) includes the majority of foundation endowments invested for the benefit of the University of Colorado. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of directors. The board is further assisted by the investment policy committee and finance & operation committee to manage the investment assets.University of Colorado Foundation's investment portfolio is valued at $1.74 billion, with investments in domestic and international equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and cash.
