University of British Columbia Faculty Pension Plan (UBC Faculty Pension Plan) is a single-employer defined contribution corporate pension based in Vancouver, Canada. Established in 1967, the plan provides retirement, termination and death benefits for the members of the University of British Columbia. The UBC FPP is also known as a capital accumulation plan or money purchase plan. The board of trustees annually reviews, amends and approves the statement of investment policies and goals for the UBC Faculty Pension Plan. The UBC Faculty Pension Plan Board consists of eight trustees, four trustees are elected by members and four trustees are appointed by the University.
