United Nations University Endowment

United Nations University (UNU Endowment) manages an endowment fund that is based in Tokyo, Japan. The mission of the UN University is to contribute, through collaborative research and education, to efforts to resolve the pressing global problems of human survival, development, and welfare that are the concern of the United Nations, the people, and member states. The UN University receives no funds from the regular United Nations budget and is financed entirely by investment income derived from the endowment fund. The assets of the endowment fund are managed by the UNU Council.United Nations University Endowment is currently investing in private equity.
