United Association Local 7 Pension Plan

United Association Local 7 Pension Plan is a multi-employer defined benefit union pension fund based in Latham, New York. Established in 1954, the pension fund is financed by employer contributions as set forth in the collective bargaining agreement with the Mechanical Contractors Association of the Capital District, which requires employers of members of the Union to contribute for each hour worked. The fund provides normal retirement, early retirement, and disability pensions and also provides married couple benefits, lump-sum death benefits and pre-retirement surviving spouse limited and lifetime pension benefits. The assets are managed by the board of trustees.
