U.S. Trust Private Equity was the private equity and venture capital arm of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management that preferred to make investments in private companies at various stages of development, from early through expansion stage. The firm preferred to invest in information technology, internet infrastructure, e-commerce, communication and networking, healthcare and consumer service sectors. It was based in Stamford, Connecticut.
