Tennessee Valley Authority

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is a government agency based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Established in 1933, TVA provides electricity for business customers and local power distributors. TVA also provides flood control, navigation, and land management for the Tennessee River system and assists local power companies and state and local governments in economic development and by job creation.
