TEAK Capital Corporation is a multi-disciplinary investment firm. TEAK was initially established in 2007 as an investment fund to manage a managed account of a fund of Goldman Sachs. It also served as a investment advisor to Elliott Advisors. Since 2013 TEAK evolved into a private industrial holding company focused on 4 core businesses: TEAK Capital Partners, TEAK Acquisition Corporation, TEAK Turnaround Management, and TEAK Industries. TEAK Capital Partners manages Private Debt and Private Equity Co-Investments by originating and structuring proprietary investment opportunities and co-investing in these opportunities together with its capital partners. TEAK Acquisition Corporation provides risk transfer and liquidity solutions to corporate sellers of subsidiaries through corporate carve outs, corporate restructurings or troubled situations from corporate sellers seeking rapid exit. TEAK also invests in portfolio spin-offs, providing liquidity solutions to corporate, private equity, portfolio managers and fund investors. TEAK takes over management of portfolio companies or investment positions allowing the existing investors to achieve either full exit or receive immediate partial liquidity on transfer. TEAK Turnaround Management provides restructuring and turnaround management leadership including the appointment of Chief Restructuring Officer, Chairman and/or other roles to lead restructurings including taking directorship appointments. TEAK is the founding firm in Global Special Situations M&A, an international alliance of investment firms with a unique focus on special situations; including mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, capital raising, valuation, financial restructuring and bankruptcy/insolvency advisory. Lastly TEAK Industries makes strategic investments in growing industries. TEAK Capital Corporation invests in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, and has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Bogota, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Panama.
